Never use Airhelp
I had a flight delayed by more than 5 hours, so I decided to use AirHelp because I heard they were good at handling compensation claims. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I submitted my claim and kept receiving automated emails saying they were “working on it.” I contacted them several times over the course of a full year, and every time the answers were vague. Out of pure frustration, I told them that if they couldn’t resolve my case, I would handle it myself. Only one month later, AirHelp suddenly told me that the airline had rejected my compensation. I didn’t trust that answer, so I filed the claim on my own — and in just 7 days the airline approved it and processed the refund. The airline even confirmed that the money was already sent to AirHelp and that I needed to contact them. AirHelp, on the other hand, says they “never received anything.” This is absolutely unacceptable. After waiting a year for nothing, getting contradictory information from both sides, and then having to do everything myself, I can confidently say this has been an insane and incredibly frustrating experience. Honestly, I didn't expect anything back from using Airhelp. But I completed their forms and submitted the requirements, and after 2-3 months after I was surprised by the email saying that the payment is ready. View More

Suspicious trearment. I will never use again.
When claim was approved by wizzair airline, the amount was 250 euros. Somehow this was changed to 200 euros. Never had a chance to see the original paperwork between airline and Airhelp and this gives a space to think that the original amount given for the claim was higher. Payment was quick. We were refused compensation by Westjet twice and told not to contact them again, disgraceful, Airhelp stepped in and got us great compensation and very quickly, showing the airline was completely lying to us and treating us very badly after a horrible 9 hour delay , we are both over 70 regular flyers , this has been an education for sure thanks Airhelp , worth every penny and so easy . The "No Win, No Fee" model provides total peace of mind. Areas for Suggestion: The only slight improvement I could suggest is perhaps more frequent pro-active status updates via email, especially during the negotiation phase, but honestly, checking the online portal was simple enough. AirPayout needs major improvement!
AirHelp+ customer for nearly 3 years and now very disappointed. While the filing/payout process for the main claim guaranteed by Ec261 regulation did function, recently I also applied for the additional "fast payout" (AirPayout Insurance) for 1 cancelled and 1 significantly delayed flight. In both cases, the request was made within 28 days during the claiming process in the customer dashboard as NO dedicated email link was sent yet AirHelp claimed "this payment has expired because it was not claimed by you via your customer dashboard or the dedicated email link we sent informing you about the insurance payment." The greatest benefit of AirHelp WAS the simplicity of filing a claim/insurance with limited back and forth. Unfortunately my recent experiences have shown a significant decrease in quality which will likely result in the discontinuation of my AirHelp+ membership. View More
