Worst doorbell ever.
Worst doorbell ever. Bought a WiFi doorbell (greet) from them. It think it was the worst experience I ever had. They even tried to sell me a second one. I only could get a 30€ refund from the 75€ buy price. Don't buy these doorbells, other items may be ok , but doorbell only lasts 7 days max. And loses WiFi constantly. Bought a 1080p eufy (older model), which changed everything, for a better way. View More

I bought an outdoor camera for extra security. Looked through Amazon for the one that suited me best. I was wanting a camera that had good day and night vision. I also wanted one with rechargeable batteries. Heimvision seemed to be the one. No cables, great vision day and night. You can put it up with the magnet and adhesive method. I'm trying that now. I won't be keeping that way, I'll use the other bracket provided too and screw it into position. No need for cloud and the costs, simply buy an sd card. The camera takes up to 128. Easy to follow instructions. What more can you want. View More
They basically scammed me
Bought an alarm clock from Heimvision to give to someone on Easter April 4th and was told it would arrive in 3-7 business days. For one thing they gave me a tracking number and said it was for DHL Express but instead worked on UPS. Secondly, their customer support kept claiming my package was coming and extending the due date it would arrive. On the 24th of March and I was told it was in transit but now its the 14th of April and they've just told me its still in a the warehouse just being put on a flight now. They've said that the delays are just because of Covid but the amount of wrong information (or lies) they have told me so far is worrying. I don't know for sure if this company is a scam or not, I will update if they actually do give me a refund because I just asked for one. It's way past Easter anyway so theres no point in them even shipping my package if they do ever decide to ship it (The delivery date they gave me originally had plenty of time for it to arrive in time even with some delays). My advice for now though? Do not buy anything from this company, they seem really sketchy. PS: They did refund me half of the shipping cost for delays but I'm not sure they've even shipped my order EDIT: They did refund me but I still had a pretty terrible experience with their customer support and I never got the product a month after order. I'm going to change my review from 1 to 2 stars but I still really don't recommend buying from this company. View More

I bought the HM241 security camera system from Amazon. I have zero complaints. I know it's made in China, so I wonder about the durability of the system... but it was very easy to set up. The camera off a very good picture, and they have a customer service number and Facebook group where they will respond to questions very quickly. I really couldn't ask for anything more. View More

Heimvision very disappointing product
Very disappointing product, Heimvision C1 2K Video doorbel Camera Smart Wifi. It starts with the mounting screws for the holder, these are of such poor quality that they break under the head during screwing in. By hand with the supplied screwdriver. The product itself is malfunctioning. The image is very slow, jerky and the alarms work poorly or not at all. When the alarm goes off you can just see someone's back due to the delay. The delay is about 20 seconds every time. And NO!! its not een wifi issue!! The distance between the bell and modem/router is less than 5 meters. Wifi is almost everytime between 85 and 100 %. The supplied gong also works poorly. Then the gong will work and then not, when someone rings the doorbell. This is also within 5 meters of the bell. The microphone is very sensitive, the slightest sound is picked up, but no adjustment is possible. It's on or off. You don't take "security" for that. The app is very cluttered and doesn't work intuitively. The translation, Dutch, is also very bad. But then it comes, no matter how you try to contact them, they don't respond at all!! On the webshops site they mainly ask to contact them directly in case of problems and not the seller. It is now clear why. Worst customer service and very bad product support!! I did a lot of research before deciding…
I did a lot of research before deciding on the HM211 camera. Was looking for one that was wireless, outdoor rated, could record to SD card, and didn't depend on battery power. This model had it all. Liked it enough to buy 2 more later. However, as time passed, with each unconditional update of the PixPlus app, the functionality spiraled down. Despite having a good quality SD card plugged in, more often than not, it refuses to record events even though it sends alerts to the phone. The SD card eventually fills up but the phone shows no events were recorded. Even when it was working, you had to catch it before it reached 89% full and send a format command, otherwise it would just stop recording and not tell you that the card was full. Currently, even accessing live video is painful. The app has to "think" for minutes before locking onto the feed, often disconnecting in the process. It seems the camera hardware is sound but the PixPlus app has gotten so bad that it renders the camera almost useless. One example: Earlier it was possible to playback recordings at 2X speed; now that nice feature is gone. It is as though the programmers don't know what they're doing or they are hoping that if the SD card recording feature is problematic enough, it'll force the customer to subscribe to their cloud recording service. This is my 3rd purchase of a Heimvision…
This is my 3rd purchase of a Heimvision Sentry 1 Camera. I use them to keep an eye on my 93 Year Old Mother (who has severe dementia). I already had one in the Kitchen and one in the Lounge. Unfortunately she had a fall in the Hallway and broke her hip. So here we are 7 weeks on, she's back home, so there is a camera in the Hallway now so I can watch the front door and view the Hallway. BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE: planned obsolescence. I bought two security cameras from Heimvision in 2022 - the app was never brilliant but it did the job. A few weeks ago I got an error message when trying to log into the app "Request Timeout 4039". After contacting customer service I was told "this app is no longer maintained" and so I'm left with perfectly working hardware that I've no ability to use. There's no third party apps they let you use either. Not only is this pretty awful for the enviroment and waste, but I'm having to buy a new system as they've decided to abandon it. Going on 3 years of misery with these 6 wireless cameras. Model ? I have no clue and don’t really care because they’re junk. Paid over $300 for a PZT 2 way voice and and alarms that go to our phone. So the system was sold as a PTZ style. #1 Guess what you PTZ is ? Your pinch to expand and zoom to look around NOT PTZ cameras. #2. There’s no speaking to anyone thru the camera ,there’s no speaker ! #3 Alarms sent to 1 phone not 2 #4 The “wireless” cameras still needed a power supply wire ran from an outlet to supply power #5 signal cuts out frequently leaving areas that could be important unviewable for that time frame #6 playback loads so slow it’s sometimes up to a minute #7 the box that everything is saved to (DVR) is the noisiest it vibrates and hums very loud. After 3years and countless hours looking through all the setting on the mouse controlled DVR I come to the conclusion that the software is limited and the China made system is mainly a ripoff. Never again will I purchase their fine piece of crap because if you do get a person on the phone your Mandarin better be on point View More
Heimvision HM241, Good Value for the money!
I bought the Heimvision HM241 for my home and it's worked well since 2021. Since the whole system was only $179 I think that's amazing value for the amount spent. I'm having a little problem now with the NVR but support has been great and we're trying to figure it out. Considering that we spent a great deal more for a Night Owl system for the business and have had nothing but problems, including no support whatsoever from the company, since they discontinued support for many of the older systems.
