Another russian service that looks like US
Keep in mind, this is a russian service disguised as an American one. There were many articles over the Internet, and other staff, in 2016 that this is a russian service, but they erased almost every mention of it :( View More
Great tool, but needs support
This is an amazing tool for easy background tracking for video, albeit you can NEVER own the copyright. My only concerns are that the downloads and actual track generation seems to consistently run into issues, generating numerous tracks locks up every now and then - I spent a few days trying to create a certain 5 tracks. It also takes hours for tracks to render for download - so don't expect this as a quick tool for rapid daily creation. Also, the customer services/chat are VERY slow to respond. I have a pro account and my average response rate is around 12-16 hours. For a company that has huge coverage in social media and a clearly strong revenue stream (not just from licenses but also from the IP royalties) I am surprised they are not as advanced in focusing on customer services and client retention. Probably a scam... Too shady, non GDPR compliant with emails, a lot of issues, no copyright given for creations even in premium, and way too expensive for what it is actually worth...
First of all the prices for the plans are out of this world for something that isn't 100% accurate and with so many flaws and they also require monthly subscriptions and not even a one-off payment. The demo (free subscription) only provides with generic tracks that always come with an annoying voice shouting mubert every once in a while but the main issue is that my guess is that they just have a small ready made songlist as a base and whenever you type a prompt the generated music always sounds the same with just a few changes on the tracks depending on the genre and the prompts type to generate (some words also direct to more generic genres and the software doesn't recognize properly many of existing music genres and subgenres when prompted for them). So most of the tracks sound similar, relatively generic and without many variations. The beta thingy which is supposed to create similar tuned tracks to the YouTube video which you upload there, is way far off or doesn't seem to work at all. Downloading your tracks to your drive is NOT even an option. What is also shady is the fact of data collection (emails) for purposes unknown even at test platforms like huggingface (and they collected a lot so far!). Also the fact that they require a lot of money but they clearly state that you don't have any ownership /commercial rights for your creations (even if you buy the most expensive of their premium plans) looks too shady, seems alarming and shouts scam alert from beyond. What is also shady and controversial is the fact that they locked their API code from huggingface while there were creators and coders there that were working on their project, removing bugs and improving their software FOR FREE! For me Mubert sounds like a shady, money-grabbing startup company, that probably won't be around for very long (especially when google launches its own text to music app). They will just grab as much money they can from unsuspected customers and then they will make a run for it! So my advice is to stay clear of this one and by NO means subscribe to their shady and immensely expensive premium plans or give them your credit card information in any way. If they change mind and (their so far obscure) tactics by giving what they actually promise and letting people try their platform, work with the code and generator more, as well as unlocking their API as it was before (and not forcing people/even testers to subscribe for premium), also fix the genres and make prompts work better, then maybe, just maybe they stand a chance in the distant future. But their policies so far appear dark, greedy and malevolent. That is my WARNING to all potential future customers of the Mubert app/software... Just stay away and don't give them your money!!! I do not recomend it
I do not recomend it , no matter what you key in is gonna generate some random music . waste of money
Fraudulent company
Fraudulent company, as well as useless if you want the copyright of your music. I was with them for 2 months paying the most expensive membership. Both times they charged me twice for the membership. They refunded me, no problem. The problem comes when I read the fine print the second month after I've been working hard and realize that you don't own the rights to your music. You probably come from the hundreds of youtubers cashing in on the AI fad and selling you that you can create and upload your music using Mubert. HA-HA-HA-HA Wrong. I'm going to work on this review because today, after 1 month since I cancelled my membership and sent them an email with screenshots so they could see the cancellation, they have charged me again. Little luck they had to steal my money because I use cards that I can freeze (I recommend you, use Revolut for example). And since you bothered to read this review, go to AIVA, I talked to them by mail and they do give you the rights to your music. View More
Terrible customer service
Service itself is ok, but the customer service is terrible. One of the worst i have ever seen.
Hands off
As most have written before, customer service is a disaster. One receives no feedback even after weeks and also no invoices! Do not do this to yourselves!
TERRIBLE customer service
TERRIBLE customer service, DO NOT USE!!!!
A Totally Disappointing Experience
Based on my personal experience, Mubert does NOT create good experiences for their customers. I feel disappointed. If I could go back in time, I wish I didn't subscribe their plan at first. When I tried to cancel my Annual Pro Subscription by clicking the "Cancel" button, an error popped up at the bottom left corner saying "Error during subscription cancel". Eventually I got my Annual Pro Subscription cancelled by clicking the "Cancel" button to cancel my Annual Ambassador (Free) Plan. Weird, right? This subscription cancellation process is time-consuming & disappointing. Additionally, I have tried writing two emails - one, sent two weeks ago, requesting for a refund & asking how to cancel my subscription; another one, sent recently, confirming if my subscription got properly cancelled. Unfortunately, both emails don't get a response at all. This made me feel very disappointed at their customer services as well. Considering all these, I won't suggest Mubert to anyone if you have other options to choose from. Hope this review is helpful for your decision making process. View More
THE GOOD AND THE BAD!
THE GOOD AND THE BAD! THE GOOD SIDE: Some users may express reservations about mubert.com, but personally, I find it to be a remarkable AI music platform. Its capability to generate tracks of up to 25 minutes in length is particularly advantageous for those looking to establish a vibrant music presence on platforms like YouTube. What's more, the platform allows you to produce a staggering 500 tracks per month, which undoubtedly contributes to its exceptional value for the investment. With these features in mind, mubert.com stands out as a versatile and cost-effective tool for any aspiring music creator seeking to build a substantial library and engage with their audience in a meaningful way. THE BAD SIDE: I have been utilizing the services of mubert.com for nearly three years, with a mix of consistent and intermittent use. Over the past 18 months, I have noticed a concerning trend where reaching out to them for assistance yields no response. An example of this lack of responsiveness is evident in instances where other YouTubers claim content ID ownership and even go as far as requesting the takedown of your videos; unfortunately, Mubert seems to disregard any appeals for support in such situations. It is important to exercise caution when utilizing mubert.com for AI-generated music, as the platform may not always have all the necessary copyrights in place. In case you encounter a dispute with a YouTuber claiming copyright infringement, the most prudent course of action would be to remove the contested section, whether it amounts to 5 or 20 seconds of content. By preemptively addressing potential copyright issues in this manner, you can mitigate the risks of facing more severe consequences due to content ownership disputes on the platform. CONCLUSION: When reflecting on the level of service received from A.I. music websites, I can confidently say that finding better service elsewhere seems highly unlikely. Unfortunately, it appears that these companies are not particularly invested in addressing any potential issues that may arise. Despite the fact that ownership of copyright should not influence the resolution of problems, it is evident in my experience with Mubert.com that platforms like Youtube often hold considerable authority in these matters, acting as both judge and jury. The situation is quite disheartening because Mubert initially exhibited commendable customer service when I initially signed up with them. It appears as though they may be facing challenges within their business that have led to a noticeable decline in their responsiveness and overall service quality. It's truly regrettable to witness a company like Mubert seemingly falter and lose focus on maintaining a high standard of customer care. Hopes are invariably placed on businesses to uphold a certain level of service excellence and commitment to their customers, and it's disappointing when it appears that these expectations might not be consistently met. This shift in quality and dedication that seems to be occurring within Mubert's business operations is concerning, especially considering the positive impression they initially made with their strong customer service approach. Avoid This So Called AI Music Generator MUBERT.COM – Total Waste of Time and Money!
I recently tried MUBERT, and I must say, this has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with any AI music creation platform. The quality of the music it generates is beyond terrible. No matter how well you describe your prompt, the AI completely fails to understand it and produces music that is the total opposite of what you requested. Instead of creating something meaningful, the results are just random noise that no one would want to listen to. They also offer an option where you can select a genre, and their AI will create music automatically. Unfortunately, this is no better! The so-called "music" it generates is so bad that you can't even bear to listen to it for more than a few seconds. It sounds completely unstructured, chaotic, and uninspired—certainly not something anyone would use for professional or personal projects. On top of that, their customer service is a complete joke. If you reach out to them with an issue, be prepared to wait several days (if not weeks) for a response. And when they finally do reply, their answers are completely irrelevant to your actual question. It’s as if they don’t even bother reading your message. To anyone considering purchasing this service—please don’t waste your money. This AI music generator is nothing more than a scam that promises quality but delivers absolute garbage. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a real music creation tool. View More
Liars
They have free tracks apparently no youtube copyright strikes. I've used some of those giving credit to the site/artist, and after a year all of them got strikes, I had to replace/mute ruining the videos. View More
The worst experience ever
The worst experience ever. They stole money from my card, and to add to the whole thing, their service is outrageous and very rude

Won’t take any refunds regardless of credit usage. Poor ethics.
What a bunch of BS
What a bunch of BS. Advertises as free. Wants you to buy a plan after you sign up before you can even hear the music. Garbage.
Basically a scam
Horrible service, doesnt work, support does nothing, they will fight tooth and nail to ensure you will never get refunded. a scam as far as I am concerned.
I Paid 49 Bucks to Gaslight Myself Into a Digital Dumpster Fire - Is Mubert.com API a Scam?
So, gather round, folks, because I’ve got a cautionary tale. It all started when I stumbled across a site called Mubert.com. I was looking for AI-generated music for some projects, and their site promised just that — royalty-free tracks, customizable, real-time generation, the whole dream. Looked a little sketchy, but hey, it's 2025. We trust robots now, right? Wrong. The site gives you almost zero info before you pay. No real documentation, no dashboard previews, no pricing per use. Just vibes. But I was feeling optimistic (and stupid), so I paid 49$ for their “API” plan. Immediately, the website gave me... absolutely nothing. No confirmation screen. No invoice. No receipt. It was like handing cash to a guy in an alley and watching him disappear into the fog. I waited. And waited. Ten hours later, I finally got an email — a shady, slapped-together thing that looked like it was written on a flip phone. It included my API key in plaintext (because who needs security?), and one vague sentence that made it sound like I'd just signed up for a polling service, not music generation. I searched high and low for documentation. You know what I found? A one-line API doc that literally said: “Polls is a simple API allowing consumers to view polls and vote in them.” And that was it. No endpoints, no usage limits, no onboarding guide, no authentication structure — just... that. So I emailed them, politely asking for clarification and maybe a refund, considering I had basically bought a digital question mark. Their response? A cheerful little, “We already sent you everything. No refunds.” Thanks, guys. Turns out, if you dig through their email long enough, they casually mention that generating 3 minutes of music costs $1.47. That’s right — after paying 49$, you find out the actual usage cost. For comparison, Stability AI charges around $0.20 for the same thing, and they actually provide you with a dashboard, pricing calculator, and – you know – real documentation. I didn’t get a user account. I didn’t get a receipt. I didn’t even get a clear idea of what I’d bought. Just a raw API key and a vague sense that I’d been mugged by a startup built in a basement on expired Red Bull. To top it off, the website itself looks like it was built in 2011 by someone going through a breakup. Misaligned buttons, broken links, and zero transparency. It’s like a haunted funhouse designed by blind raccoons with anxiety. So yeah. That’s the story. 49 bucks down the drain, no real service in return, and a reminder that if a company hides all its documentation until after you pay, you’re probably the product — or the punchline. I’m off to buy a gumball machine for some real kids who deserve it. View More
