I am having some serious issues with…
I am having some serious issues with streamyard and its getting to the point of legal involvement. I have been on a paid plan. Even though I only used streamyard a few times I still kept paying as it was not that much. I was paying whilst not using for over a year. Then they hiked their prices up massively. Like many others I did not agree with it. So I either kept paying or remove myself back to the free plan. They automatically moved me to the hiked up price plan. When I tried to go back to the free plan. It was not there. I have been so busy but I kept on trying. I wrote them endless emails. They ignored the emails and kept taking the money. Now I am actively concentrating on solely getting them to put me back on the free plan. So far they are ignoring me. I also want refunds for the months I have tried to change it but they kept on taking money. It says in their policy. 'if you payment fails several times the automatically put you back on the free plan'. This has not happened they have continued to take money from my account. Which amounts to theft! View More

They say you can have a free trial but won't let you cancel or delete your account without paying. Avoid at all costs - complete waste of time and money. And the support is hopeless, no one actually answers your question some bot just cuts and pastes an answer ... which doesn't help. If I could get the answer by googling I would - don't assume I haven't tried to fix this. View More

THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY
They steal your money, refuse to refund even when you cancel the trial on time. Worse!! company out there!! I Canceled my trial so I wouldn't be charged. They charged me anyway, now 8 times! I have the email proving I canceled, have written them now many times! To cancel, you have to agree that they keep all the payments and only cancel your last payment. So I've canceled my card and filed a dispute to get 8 payments back. That's $280!! Hope I get my get my money back. Thank God I was smart enough to keep a record of my Trial cancellation request and screen capture to their computer responses. You've been warned, don't use them!! View More

Title Charged After Cancellation – No Refund, No Help
I was charged 1179.95 THB (about $32) by StreamYard on May 31, 2025, even though I canceled my plan. I never intended to continue with a paid subscription. I tried to request a refund through the self-service, but it said I was already on a free plan — which is confusing and unfair because the money was already taken. I reached out for help, but all I got were automated replies and no real support. This is extremely disappointing. I’m asking StreamYard to do the right thing and refund the amount they charged without my consent. Studio Entrance Failure
I have been having problems for months with this company. I pay for a month subscription and I should be able to stream from anywhere with any device. However, this Program will not let me enter the studio on my desktop. I have reported this, and nothing seems to get done. they refer you back to being the technical technician. View More

subscribed to Streamyard to do one LinkedIn live session and canceled my subscription the next day. I am 100% sure I canceled it, and I even double-checked because I was leaving the company later that month. Despite this, Streamyard kept charging me every week. When I tried to get help: My support tickets were denied. The support email was inactive. There was no live chat support. After sending around 10 emails, I finally got one reply — six days later. Their response? "Please share the last 4 digits of your credit card so we can cancel your subscription." After researching online, I saw that many other users experienced the same problem. Streamyard is abusing its customers and making unauthorized charges. Please check your credit card statements if you ever subscribed, even once. View More
One Star – Shady Billing Practices, No Customer Support
StreamYard was recommended to me, so I visited their website and started going through the steps for a 7-day trial. I entered my info, including my card details, but I never submitted the form. I backed out before confirming anything. Despite that, I began getting emails saying they were trying to charge my card. (I keep my card turned off between uses.) I responded immediately to those emails, letting them know I never authorized a trial or any charges. I heard nothing back. Then, the moment my card was active, they successfully charged it. I requested a refund. No response. I emailed again. Still nothing. In the end, I had to dispute the charge through my bank and cancel my card entirely. I don't understand the negative reviews. StreamYard work brilliantly for us in building a Podcasting audience. The software is developing and adding new features every time I go in. There are things you might want to add, but generally it is an excellent bit of software that works for me and my team. Compared with other systems, it is the best one for a team using the system, whereas others are for the individual podcaster working alone. I would highly recommend it and its growing capacity. I would love for it to have an inbuilt teleprompter system for short recording, but having written it here, I wait to see how long it takes for this to be included. The team listen and is pretty responsive to ideas. View More

Saw this on YouTube. Sounded interesting. Went to their website. Entered my info but did not complete a purchase. Just now I saw a pending from StreamYard. I called the number 888-222-3704 but it never would Send my email. When the purchase goes through my bank, I will immediately challenge the purchase! Spam-type business. I've been extremely happy, they are Brave New World from Zoom. I'm 54 yo salesman, and they make tech simple for me. Can't talk about scam billing practices becasue I have not tried to cancel, but would be very disappointed. View More
