EngineDIY Review – Great Model, Minor Quirks
I built the small-scale Trent 900 jet engine from EngineDIY in about 1.5 hours. While the instructions were in another language, the step-by-step pictures made it easy to follow. The finished model is solid, very durable, and runs smoothly. I added a bit of multipurpose spray lubricant, and it performed even better. The overall design is realistic and well-made—great for display or function. Side note: The two main bearings were a bit stubborn to install in the FWD and AFT sections. Using a bit of household or garage lubricant really helped slide them into place. Overall, EngineDIY delivered a high-quality model that’s fun to build and impressive once complete. View More

Real good model. Ran as it should right out of the box. Interesting learning toy. My grandkids love the whole presentation. The lights on the spinner and the engine running keep them fascinated.

Efficient and a well informed logistics progress. Product excellent quality. Battery is excellent quality. What about having a socket rather than a spanner for bucket/attachment changes... would be better if some sort of quick release to change out different attachments. View More

Things are usually very positive , however neglecting long term service is unforgivable.
I have ordered quite a few items from engine diy , they gave always sent the goods fast , so no complaints there , however , after running the nr200 engine in my project vehicle the water pump jammed ruining the bearings and taking out the timing belt , okay , not the worst disaster, you would think they would sell me a spare parts to fix it , sadly you get no support from the vendor the manufacturer , im having to make the part myself , a real shame that this is how it is . My Retrol Beam Engine kit arrived within a few days of ordering. The kit was well packed and complete as far as I could ascertain. My first impression was one of satisfaction at the high quality of all the individual components. The assembly instructions were quite comprehensive although I was familiar with the engine's construction and operation as result of watching reports on YouTube programs. Hello, I purchased a engine unit from a well known website for a good price. Little did know that there were no instructions with it. And I couldn't download load any instructions from the same site. I contacted enginediy. These guys not only listen to me, but sent me 50 pages of instructions on how to assemble my engine. And it happened within 8hrs. Of the initial contact.
