Another trip down the rabbit hole! Let me save you the trouble: Don't. Lovable promises "build apps with AI" but delivers "waste hours debugging code that looks right but doesn't work." Here's what happened: Paid $40 for Business plan Spent 5 hours following AI instructions Built impressive-looking contractor onboarding app Tested it: "Failed to save information" errors Asked AI to fix: Claims it's fixed Still broken Ask again: "I've implemented UPSERT logic!" Still broken Ask again: "Added UUID uniqueness constraints!" Still. Broken. Deploy to production: Maybe production will work? NOPE. STILL BROKEN. The AI is like a confident intern who says "I fixed it!" without actually testing anything. It generates explanations that SOUND technical but don't solve the actual problem. Real talk: Before Lovable, I tried Base44. Six hours wasted. Broken deployment. Switched to Lovable hoping for better. SAME RESULT. The entire AI code generation space is overselling and underdelivering. These tools are fine for toy projects and demos. For actual businesses? They're expensive time-wasters. Don't listen to influencers (youtube) - they are paid to promote these products. I believed the AI hype. Paid for two different platforms. Wasted 11+ hours total. Still have nothing working. Now hiring a developer anyway. Lesson learned: When something seems too good to be true (build production apps with no coding!), it probably is. Am I getting a refund? You bet. Now things flow easily, fewer errors, refactoring code is automated, and a gamechanger of lovable cloud and lovable AI which allows users not to worry about the backend of things. One of the most fancy and worst Service.
One of the most fancy and worst service. This is only and solely good for quick prototypes. I mean simple prototype. else they can not provide any single thing without error. Top of that worst security. worst hosting. Imagine you publish your business site and app with them and boom. its gone because they are contracted with cheap vendors for service. One more thing that you will noticed that they promoted their product with influencers. no single active product that makes money are hosted on lovable. So my suggestion as soon as your project elevated. Move it somewhere else specially hosting. to secure and active your project. Lovable is the company that has poor value in terms of quality. I purchased credits but…
I purchased credits for two months of their Pro plan, expecting that what I paid for would remain available until I used it. The moment I downgraded my account, lovable.dev straight-up removed all the credits I had bought, even though none of them were used. This is an absolutely shady and unacceptable practice. There was zero clear warning that downgrading would make my paid credits disappear. No transparency, no fairness. To make things worse, getting proper support apparently requires having a Pro account — meaning you’re basically forced to pay again just to speak with someone who can help. Completely unreasonable. Taking away something a customer has already paid for isn’t just bad service — in my opinion, it’s borderline scammy behavior. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this platform to anyone. View More

My experience using Lovable has been extremely frustrating. The platform feels very buggy, many functions don’t work as expected, and I’ve ended up spending a large portion of my credits just trying to fix errors or resolve issues created within the app itself. Even then, the fixes often don’t work, which makes the whole process feel like a waste of both time and money. Overall, it has been a very challenging and disappointing experience to work with. very weak if you try to do a complex website. i think its design to scam you out of your credit by making mistakes on porpouse so you have to spend credit to fix . basically everything you do will break at least once. very annoying. View More
