Wouldn't order again
I bought a new work bag for my girlfriend which was reduced from just over £100 to £31. The delivery from China took almost 2 weeks (by cargo ship) and my first thought when it was delivered was 'thats extremely poorly packaged and lopsided' before even opening. When I opened it up, it was a mess. Very badly damaged, out of shape, and had 2 slashes in it. I quickly asked for a refund and sent photos of the issues. I then ticked a box which said 'free item' or something like that thinking they may send something complimentary for the inconvenience. I had to email to see if I was meant to send them the bag back and they said I could keep it (although it won't be used, and we're going to give it to charity). I still haven't had a refund, but i did receive a replacement bag today, which was sent via plane rather than cargo ship, and although it is just in a material bag and wrapped in a black plastic bag, it somehow turned up undamaged and my missus is happy. My frustration is that the first bag was slashed, but the material bag and the plastic wrapping weren't damaged, so they either sent it at a huge discount knowing it was badly damaged and hoped for the best, or they have no quality control whatsoever. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because almost a month after ordering, my missus has a bag she likes. It looks nice, but the stitching and seams are pretty poor, and its obviously low quality, hyped up with a british name and sold at massive prices, then sold in massively discounted sales. The bag is worth the £31, but do not pay full price for one of these. They are not worth it. If it holds any weight, I work as an inspector, so I'm used to looking for defects/ issues with products, and these are certainly not quality. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I ordered a bag called the Alexandra Cross Body bag. The first bag I received, there was a problem with the zip. I asked for a replacement. Their customer service was initially decent and asked for proof of the issue. I sent them a video. They issued me with a replacement as they had sent me a faulty bag. The second bag then fell apart within 2 months with minimal use. When I say fell apart, I mean the strap just detached in the middle of a shop randomly and the bag became useless as it can't be carried. I contacted customer service yet again demanding either a replacement or my money back. They said only 40% discount can be offered to buy the bag again EVEN THOUGH I PAID FULL PRICE FOR A BAG THAT SHOULD HAVE LASTED MORE THAN 2 MONTHS. They wanted me to buy a bag I had already paid full price for!! When I insisted I won't pay again and demanded a refund, because their awful quality bag fell apart just from occasional use, they ignored my emails. If they can offer 40% off the price they can provide a 60% refund! BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE IGNORED MY EMAILS. UNPROFESSIONAL. UNACCEPTABLE TO GHOST EMAILS. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE LOW PRICES I HAVE PRIMARK BAGS THAT LAST LONGER THAN THE RUBBISH THEY SENT ACROSS. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. AWFUL COMPANY. Can't even be bothered to respond to emails. I have a few handbags now from Bond and Mason as they are of very good quality. Easy to order and even though delivery can take a while, the wait is worth it.
